Droid Turbo Has Advertisements in System Apps.. Why?

Hi, I have a Droid Turbo I got last Christmas and I have not done any software updates on the phone, and recently (about a week ago) the phone seemed to automatically update without my approval and since then, I have gotten several advertisements popping up on the screen. It's happened when I unlock the screen, when I open my Messaging App, and even when I open my calculator. It is random, not constant. But this is a new found issue. I installed Security 360 and ran an Anti Virus scan finding 1 malicious app and it was removed. Short of doing a Factory Reset, any ideas???
