My HTC has quite frequently had trouble connecting to wifi since I've moved into university residences. It connects fine to most wifis, eg the same system that operates in my lecture halls, but not the one in my house. I am able to use the wifi on my laptop and all other phones in the building can connect. I spoke to HTC and they said to restard my router, but I can't do this given that I'm in shared halls. They then suggested going to the Wifi Widget in settings, which worked, but isn't working today. The SIM port has also stopped working recently, which I know I have to send off to get fixed, but in the meantime, is there any way to fix the wifi without restarting the router or doing a factory reset??
