Welcome to Android Central! This is a good reason why it's better to save your contacts to your Google account, so that they sync automatically to your Google Contacts in the cloud. If your contacts are only on your SIM card, then they're prone to total loss if the card fails, if the phone falls into a volcano, or if the Voda shop totally derps.

Insert the SIM card into one of the other phones, and try exporting those contacts to a .vcf file, then importing back into your Google account. Once they're in your Google account, you can easily access them on the S4.
