Is there a recycle bin on my s3?

[AC Question]

My roommate and I share a phone and last night I pressed on the "mike" folder for too long (it was situated right where the trash can is at the top of the screen) and it sacked my folder down the drain. Is there a way to restore it like we can from the recycle bin on our desktop? Please help if you cam.

Welcome to Android Central! Icons on your homescreen are only shortcuts--they're not where actual data is stored. All you did was remove the shortcut from the screen. Was this "Mike" folder a folder of app shortcuts? If so, all you need to do is re-create it.
