I had a Galaxy S3 and could attach videos to text messages. I upgraded to the Galaxy S6 Edge with US Cellular and now I can't attach videos to text messages. I've changed the file size of the video, but I still get a message saying the file is too large.

Welcome to Android Central! The maximum filesize for MMS attachments (MMS is how you send photos or videos via text) is around 1.25 MB. Any normal video taken on a phone within the last 2 years will be fairly high res, which means even a very short video will be much bigger than 1.25 MB. Compressing the video will just make the quality terrible. Your options are to use a 3rd party messaging app that allows video attachment (and which requires the recipient to use the same app), or to upload the file to YouTube or your Google Drive/Google Photos, and share the link privately with the recipient. Emailing it as an attachment is another option, but Gmail's attachment filesize limit is 25 MB, so the video might still be too big.
