Battery is stuck at 99%. Bought just 2 days ago.

[AC Question]

I just bought a galaxy tab s2 lte 8'0 2 days ago. I just thought I'd just charge it before my first use. The thing is, I haven't tried powering on the tablet till it says battery charged 100% but is has been stuck at 99% for quite some time now.

Is this normal for a tablet newly bought haven't been turned on yet or should I go
back to the store and request for a new one?

I would suggest you turn it on and play about with it - let the battery go down and charge it up again. I'm not sure how you can see that it's 99% charged when the tablet isn't turned on.
