I'm on my 2nd S6 edge. The first one had approx. 5 dead pixels near the bottom of the screen, so I exchanged for a different one. I've had this one less than 2 hours, haven't really used it, and it's extremely hot to the touch. The metal around the lock button is so hot that I can't keep my fingers on it for more than a few seconds. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I had my husband hold out his arm and I tapped the phone on his wrist. He instantly pulled away due to the heat. I then powered it down to prevent any damage!
If Verizon were open, I would have immediately taken the phone back to the store!! Now I'm not sure if I should get another S6 Edge or just leave Samsung all together.

That certainly sounds defective, and returnable.
I have no experience of Samsungs myself but so far as I know they are no more troublesome than other devices.
