I am using an old phone at the moment because my everyday phone accidentally fell from our 2nd story window. I have an important document on my Mini.. but I have accidentally forgot my typed password. I am wondering if there is any way for me to get into my phone without wiping all of my information. I have tried the home button and power button 'trick' but alas... I am here asking for help! So please! Help me!

Welcome to Android central! Is the S3 Mini the old phone or the one that fell out the window? In other words, is the screen working?

If you've forgotten the password, what happens if you fail the unlock enough times? Does it ask you for your Google credentials?

Hi there, I had to make an account in order to respond to your message.
The S3 Mini is the old phone I am using while my Note 4 is being fixed. I have yet so sync my google account to the phone. I have only been using it for texting, calling and downloading files for work.

You may be stuck, then. See if you can do anything with Samsung's FindMyMobile.
