My keyboard switched to QWERTZ?????

I have an LG, i think it's an Optimus. I've been having a lot of problems with the keyboard, and have gone to the Settings and tried to switch the keyboard back to QWERTY instead, but it's not taking effect. i didn't even know QWERTZ was an option, and it's REALLY annoying. Please help!

Go into system settings > applications > sort by all > keyboard. See if that helps restore your settings.

I have the exact same problem, but there is no keyboare app in my settings.

Try this. Do something to bring up the keyboard - a text or Google search etc. - then tap the Settings key on the keyboard, probably towards the bottom left; then tap on Input Language & Keyboard Layout; then scroll until you find English-Qwerty and select that. There are three English keyboard variants: Qwerty, Qwertz, and Azerty.
The Settings key shows a cogwheel and three dots.
