My applications on SD card disappeared after upgrading software

Hallo,
I had some issues after upgrading software on my phone. After upgrading, the applications saved on SD card disappeared. But it actually didn't disappear at all. The applications are still contained on SD card. But it doesn't appear at home screen. Could anyone please help me? Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? I've heard of this happening before--the symlink between the main part of the app on Internal Storage and the portion on microSD probably got broken during the update. Try uninstalling one of those apps, then reinstalling from Google Play. Then go to the App Manager (or Settings>Apps), select that app, and see if you can Move to SD. If so, tap it, and see if it recognizes the data already on there.
