Does the phone have to be downloading the movie all the time its on the TV

Just wondered if you have to use up wavelength on the phone while it screening

Welcome to Android Central! What movie service are you using? Most of them, like Google Play Movies, let you temporarily download the movie to the device's storage, so that you don't need a constant web connection in order to play it. Otherwise, if you're streaming the movie, then you need a constant internet connection. Streaming the movie doesn't download it.
