How do I customize the ringtones AND notification tones for each of my contacts ?

I started by going to the contact, edit, to the bottom of the screen, to "add another field" but I am not finding "notifications". I have done this on some of my contacts (custom ringtone AND notification sound), but I can't seem to find the screen to get it done in now.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 5.

Welcome to Android Central! On most Contact apps, when you're in the Edit screen, tap Menu, and look for the Set Ringtone option. I think you can only set a specific ringtone for calls from a contact, not for text messages.
