Facebook keeps crashing on OP2

[AC Question]

My facebook app keeps crashing no matter what. I restored the whole phone to factory settings erased all data. Still does not solve the problem.

Mine does the exact same thing, I can open it from a notification but if it opens to the news feed it crashes instantly.

But my friend with a OP2 on the same version of Android and OxygenOS has no problem at all, which makes me think it's a conflict with another app.

The reviews on the Play Store show this is an issues with all makes and models, there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.
