Why can't I access my Samsung account after a factory reset?

I did a factory reset on my galaxy s5 and now I can't access my Samsung account. Why am I having trouble trying to access my Samsung account?

The first thing a Samsung does after a reset or when new is ask if you want to log in to or open a Samsung account. Carrier versions may be different.

Easiest way I did is to log in on a pc to my regional Samsung site. There are helpful prompts there, and you can set a new password.

I'm also having the same problem... i went on to the Samsung website and changed my password, but the device still gives me the same error.
