I have an android version 4.0.4 baseband version 1.4 model number SC-7MD Kernal version 3.0.8 build number a702_SuperSonic_V04_20120926. My internet network is locked so I enter the password to get into my home internet network but it's having an authentication problem because the ip address says unavailable and won't allow me to enter it in. The Mac address is entered but for some reason I can't enter the ip address does anyone have any suggestions?

You should have it set to DHCP, not to Static. Then the router will assign it an IP address.

Evidently the address you're entering is already assigned to another device. (Or it's in th DHCP range - some routers won't [and all should] refuse a dynamic address within the DHCP range.)
