    Hi

I am Anurag from India. I have recently purchased a Moto X Play(2 weeks back); I had to trim an old micro SIM to nano SIM. It did not fit well on installation and when I tried to take it out (a bit forcefully), I damaged the gold pins of the SIM card reader and now the phone is not detecting any SIM . I suspect there is also some issue with the SIM tray as it takes a lot of effort to open it with a key. I tried for replacement of the phone but it did not work out. Is there any means by which I can get the damaged parts repaired/replaced within a reasonable time frame ? Any help will be highly appreciated. Waiting anxiously for responses from you all .

    Thanks
    Anurag

Welcome to Android Central! Unless you're very good at repairing phones, I wouldn't try it yourself. Bring it to a repair shop and ask them how much it would be and how long it would take.
