I have a Samsung galaxy S III Verizon phone and I was wondering if you could put Sim cards in there from other companies like AT&T T-Mobile US cellular Etc.

Welcome to Android Central! Older phones like that one only have a CDMA radio for voice and GSM/LTE radio for data only. So you wouldn't be able to use it on a carrier that uses GSM for both voice and data (like AT&T or T-Mobile).
