A note disappeared from my cell yesterday, so I guess it deleted itself by mistake. And yes, I have restarted my device.

After some research, notes are located in /data/data/com.example.android.notepad/note_pad.db/notes but the one I´m looking for isn´t there and no recovery programm (Hexamob,Diskdigger) can give me a solution.

    Can anyone help me? Thanks

Welcome to Android Central! I'm afraid you're probably out of luck. This is one of the big disadvantages of using the preinstalled Notes or Memo apps on devices--they typically don't backup or sync anywhere, so if you lose the notes, they're gone for good. I suggest using Google Keep or Google Docs, which syncs automatically to your Google Drive in the cloud. Or any of the other cloud storage services out there, like Dropbox or Evernote.
