Following 5.1 update, Favorites widget fails to load contact

If you try to access a favorite contact from the (4x2) widget, the first time you touch the contact a message appears that says an error occurred thing to load contact. If you touch the contact again, it opens properly and you can dial, message, etc. Has anyone else experience this issue. Any fixes? I have already reloaded the widget to no avail.
