My Tab S 10.5 has very good specs and I mostly use it to browse. I have two browsers open, around 6-8 tabs on each. Eveything seems to be quite slow, as I am typing into a forum, or when I click on a tab, it will spend two-three seconds repainting the tab and then I have to refresh it from the Internet, another 10 seconds. Then I switch to the other browser and it has "lost" all the tabs, and tries to reload them from the internet, wasting so much time, but also causing unnecessary internet traffic.
I am sure that the most major culprit is the limited RAM, only 3GB, and the OS is obliged to switch applications out of memory all the time. Otherwise the tablet has realy powerful hardware, a tremendous screen resolution, strong 4 core CPU, strong GPU. It is only RAM that cripples it.
Has anyone worked on this problem and do you know of a solution?
