My phone screen won't turn on.

So I dropped my phone about two days ago and take note that I've dropped my phone several times and it's cracked but it isn't severe. When I dropped my phone it fell flat on it's back, and the screen was kind of like fading out if that makes sense. So me being the genius I am I smacked it against my hand which caused it to completely black out, but my led light was still on and it was still vibrating from my notifications. So I've already looked at videos to fix it and none of them worked. I don't have the money to get a replacement screen so can someone please help me!

I really don't think there is another solution other than replacing the lcd.

Yes, as mentioned above there's no way to fix it other than replacing the lcd. What phone do you have? Depending on the device, screen replacements can be cost effective if you know what your doing.

I have to say smacking a display when its cracked was likely the final nail in that screens coffin. Check out iFixIt.com and see how to replace your busted screen yourself and save time and money, mostly your money.
