    My phone is telling update is downloaded when ever i go for downloading update and then proceeds to installation. over there my phone shows the update is corrupted and again asks me to download update thats the case everytime i try. Can someone help me with what i have to do

    Hi. I have been facing problems in recieving and making calls in lolipop version. The call makes a ring for 3 seconds and disconnects itself. The same happens when other people call me.please help. I ve got imp calls to attend and this bug is ruining everything .

    First of all i cant do that since i cannot make any calls.
    Secondly even if i manage to contact through some one elses number , it is surely certain it hapened just after i ugraded to this version.

    See if you can wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. The steps for the M8 will probably work for the 820: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10672

    I ve already tried factory reset.
    Didnt help.also i called the carrier ppl somehow and they told me there is nothing wrong with my sim .

    Try Safe Mode, even though you already did a factory reset. It's common for apps to reinstall immediately after setting the phone back up, so your phone may not have been in a pristine state when trying to make calls. If calls work in Safe Mode, then some 3rd party app you typically install is causing interference. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10853

    Already tried in safe mode too. No success. The calls are still disconnecting after 3 seconds.

    It sounds like a bug in the firmware. I'm not sure if there's an easy way to reflash the firmware on that phone. You may need to contact HTC support.
