Chromecast and LocalCast Headphone Audio won't sync on Samsung Note 2

I have been using Chromecast 1 and LocalCast to cast internet videos and listen through the headphones on my Samsung Note2 Software ver 4.4.2. For months everything worked fine. I used the adjustment in LocalCast to sync everything up when using the headphones. Now when I use the headphones I cannot get them to sync. It seems that when I make an adjustment it takes several seconds time before the audio is played again and even more time lapses before the audio stats - creating more delay..

Anyone currently having success playing a video syncing ChromeCast audio using the headphone option with LocalCast through their Android phone? suggestions to get it working again
