I have yet to find an elegant way for my phone to auto delete locally stored pictures after Google Photos eats them to my cloud. If I could find a way to do this, I would be ok with the 32GB Nexus.

Seems awfully strange that there's no easy button way to do this. I read someone trying it with Tasker, but I'd want something automatic, so two things:

    A) My phone doesn't get low on space due to storage
    B) I don't accidentally permanently delete my photos from all sources

    Thanks, AC.

Hi, in a recent app update to Google Photos this feature became available. It will automatically tell you when your storage space is nearly full and if you would like to delete backed up photos that are on the device. You can also do this manually in the settings menu with Google Photos. The only option it doesn't have it to do it automatically.
