Can I deactivate the Emergeny Number locked screen?

A

AC Question

I'm sure this is something I messed up and I'd like to fix it. I have a Motorola Droid DRDTB032 and I've somehow managed to put a lock on my screen that I have to put a password in to unlock it. The keyboard appears under the words "Emergency Phone" which is under an input line with a flashing curser. When I type in the password, it unlocks, but I don't want it password protected. Any idea what I've done?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Security>Screen Lock, and choose a different method to lock the screen (or None). You'll have to enter your password again in order to change it.

If you encrypted your phone, you're required to use either password or PIN.
