Unlocked Verizon Samsung S5 on T-Mobile Network loses signal when call is placed or recieved

[AC Question]

I have an unlocked Verizon Samsung s5 on tmobile network. I have 4 bars 4G lte signal and as soon as I place or receive a call, the bars immediately drop to zero and a few seconds later an h+ appears. Is this normal?

I'm not sure if it's normal but I get the same thing. The call doesn't drop so I haven't worried about it.
