Why won't my apps on Google Play update or download?

Everytime I try to update or download my apps it says that it couldn't update it and to try again. I tried again multiple times after and it kept saying the same thing. I still have lots of storage remaining so that's not the case either.

I would suggest please try deleting unwanted or rarely used apps and try updating another one because some of the applications uses phone memory. Also try installing a new app and if suppose the problem persists then there should be some other issue.
