Lollipop has ruined my Hudl 2! At first is was just slow and sluggish and I had to restart every day but now it's barely usable. I never had any problems with KitKat. I wish that I had never updated. :-(

Can I go back to KitKat?

Welcome to Android Central! To go back to KitKat, you'd have to root the device and flash the KitKat ROM. This is not something for beginners, so I wouldn't recommend it--but if you want to pursue it, I suggest searching a forum like xda-developers.com for "Hudl 2 root KitKat ROM."

You could try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this link, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition: Tesco Tech Support | Performing a Hardware factory restore on your Hudl
