Why won't my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active update?

My Android version on my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is still at 4.4.2. When I go into Software update and click on Check for updates, it always tells me that current software is up to date. However, my husband's phone (Galaxy S5 Active bought on the same day) automatically updates.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get your phone from your carrier, or was it from a different carrier? Or did you get it unlocked? Carrier-specific phones usually have to be on that carrier in order to receive the proper OTA system update.

You could try using Smart Switch to update the firmware. Or install it manually using Odin: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html
