When connecting my Galaxy Alpha to my pc not all my photos come up available to view on my pc

It only pics up 57 photos from my phone but there is over 200 on there that I want to import. Have tried others usb cables and ports but still the same 57 photos become available to view or import.
Please help, finding this really annoying now, thanks.

Is it connected as a PTP device and you have photo software on the pc.

Have you tried, when you plug in the usb to the pc, pulling down the notification shade and changing to Connected as an MTP device.

Browse the phone /Portable Media Player files for the DCIM folder and search there and other folders, both on the device and sd card.

If you have your photos set to sync to Google Photos you can download them from your account.

You can also sync with Samsung Kies? Were you trying that way?
