Okay. When ever I record a video or audio with my Samsung Galaxy S5's default microphone. When played back on an external device and ran through Sony Vegas the audio only seems to be coming out of one of the channels.

I have checked the sound balance and that in centred/mid but that is only for playback on the device. It is as if the phone has two microphones and one of them is blocked. The think is non of the tiny pin holes are blocked.

Does anyone know a fix for this issue and has anyone else come across this before?
    It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Drew

Welcome to Android Central! It may be that the left mic has failed. Try recording a test video where you speak directly into each mic. If the video only plays out the right channel, both on the phone and on any other device (i.e, if you copy the video to that other device or computer), then the microphone is faulty.
