Getting rid of / deleting Google + from Samsung GT19300T phone

[AC Question]

Hi there, like several others I am also plagued with this Google+ carry on. Its chewed through all my data for the month and I don't touch the thing. When I press "disable" a message comes back saying disabling may cause problems with other apps. Your data will also be deleted.
Does this mean that contact names and numbers etc will vanish if I press "disable"
I'd certainly appreciate any assistance with this.

Welcome to Android Central! Disabling it should be fine. The only contacts you'd lose would be Google+ Circle contacts, of which you probably have none, since you never use it.
