AC Question

After setting mms settings on my galaxy S5 SM-G900V ,H/H+/3g symbols are on and switching all the time. Why,is that using battery faster ? My mobile network mode its on Global and I have 2 more options: LTE/CDMA and LTE/GSM/UMTS.

H and H+ are two versions of the same HSPA signal. H+ is supposed to be 3 or 4 times faster than 'H'. The '3G' symbol means you are connected to a UMTS connection... which is different than HSPA...

Is the signal really weak where you are? The radio could be hunting for the best connection and getting tossed around a bit.

LTE/CDMA is most likely for US carriers like Verizon and Sprint. LTE/GSM/UMTS for AT&T and T-Mobile.
