I just got a Note 4 15 days ago. It has locked itself for the 2nd time. It froze during a video recording and now will not allow me to unlock. I DO know my passcode, I had 2 fingerprints registered as well. Samsung had me try ADM and lock it to reset my passcode from my computer-but it said reset not needed-phone already locked. The first time I thought it was me not remembering. This time- I KNOW the frigging code is correct, and I have not change my fingers= It counted my fingerscans and password entry tries as 6 times- plus listening to samsdung made one more..ADM does appears enabled- it can locate my phone- it just will not reset the passcode. Sprint is NO help, as they have never heard of this before- but they are sure it is not their fault Does anyone know the ADM default passcode or have any ideas ? I do not want to do a factory reset!
Welcome to Android Central! If you fail the unlock enough times, does it ask for your Google credentials?
