Volume low on my samsung galaxy S3

Why does my ringing volume go low and static on my Samsung galaxy S3? Volume up to highest level. Volume is very low and this is on all features. On alarm. Incoming calls and recording.

Welcome to Android Central! Is volume normal when using headphones or a Bluetooth speaker? Perhaps the main speaker is faulty, or the speaker grille is clogged with lots of debris.
