How do I turn off the contact synchronisation on my Huawei phone?

I've been having a lot of trouble getting my contact list to load on my phone lately and I'm pretty sure I just figured out why. It seems that even though I never turned it on Huawei enabled the contact synchronisation feature on my phone creating dozens of copies of several contacts (as in I just spent five minutes deleting 121 copies of the same contact and it has done the same thing to many others). It has made using the phone book virtually impossible to use and slows down my dialling option as well. How do I turn it off and get rid of the surplus, annoying contact extras?

Welcome to the forums. You should be able to turn them off by going to settings>accounts>your google account>click sync>and that should bring up a checklist of the services you want to sync. You can uncheck the google one. I am not sure if Huawei has their own or not.
