    my laptop bluetooth won't connect even though its paired - the phone sees the computer and the computer sees the phone but getting an error on the laptop when try to connect to bluetooth files and the phone shows nothing. when I did get phone files to show on the laptop no subfolders were showing. - how can I drag files back and forth with data cable or Bluetooth..either!?

    Welcome to Android Central! When you connect via USB, do you get a USB connection notification in the status bar? If so, swipe down and tap it, then select MTP. If you don't get any notification at all, then try a different USB cable, since some are only for charging (and not data transfer).

    For Bluetooth, try Bluetooth File Transfer.
