Does dialing *#9900# work for moto g? If not any ideas on a code that will

I have ran out of storage on moto g and read that dialing *#9900# could help free up some for me

That's the first I've heard of such a thing. I recommend joining as a member and posting in the relevant Moto G forum - there are several - where other users will be able to advise.
