Is it possible to flash the 4.x OS on an SD card?

My Samsung Galaxy S5 can't be connected to my laptop, my husband's laptop, or my desktop with either the 3.0 USB that came with it or the smaller one that came with my Tab4. I don't know anything about the Knox security or how I could see if it has been toggled.

You need to use USB 2.0 socket on PC to connect those devices and install Samsung USB drivers to the PC or it won't be seen. Can you explain the issue with Knox? It's basically a secure system inside your device that can only be accessed with a password
