S3 mini unable to go into recovery mode

[AC Question]

I have a Samsung s3 mini, I tried updating my software to Lollipop but now none of the things are working. No mobile service, even Google apps are not working. I've tried hard resetting my phone but its not taking me back to recovery mode, it just hits a black screen. Please I really need help on how to restore it back to normal cause I really can't get a new phone at the moment. Please help it's really urgent !!!!!!!!!!..Google Play, Camera, Browser nothing is working ! The phone is currently not receiving any service & the IMEI number even seems unknown. Please help, my phone is crucial to me at this moment in time
