I just recently ported my number from Verizon to T-Mobile and any time that I get an MMS sent to me whether it is a picture message or a group text message, it creates a new group conversation.
When I receive a message with a picture in it, a new thread is made in my messages with the person sending the message, myself, and my phone number. If I reply to the new thread, it looks as if though I am sending a text to myself as part of the group.
When I get group texts, it shows my cell phone number as part of a new group message as well.
Do you think this could be due to my porting my number from Verizon to T-Mobile and possibly getting dual service?
Ps: my girlfriend is having the same issue as she ported her number over from ATT. We just started an account together.
