my notification bar is broken

I have a galaxy note 5 a week ago it told that there is a software update and I did it everything was ok until yesterday when my notification panel stopped working.
It does come up and down but it doesn't show notifications even the settings key in it doesn't work they even don't show up on my lock screen. I did change the notification settings into show content but that didn't help .
I've rebooted my phone many times and restarted it but that too didn't help .


What should I do?!

Have you tried a factory reset? When low level system stuff like that stops working, you usually only have two options a) factory reset and b) reload the latest factory image
