screen won't turn on, yellow and blue flashing lights first now red.

My Samsung Galaxy S5 mini froze, so I took the battery out and tried to reboot it, since then the screen hasn't turned on. first you could see the yellow LED flash about every second after that only the blue one every 5 seconds en now only the red LED is lit when I press the power button twice. I have tried to reboot it by connecting it to the usb port in my laptop, pressing the volume buttom don together with the power button and such, searched the internet and tried al methods I came accross, still nothing works. Does anybody know what to do?

Welcome.

The first thing to do is to have the battery tested. If the battery has failed, the phone may not work even if you connect the charger.

I guess that my battery is still functioning because when ever I turn the phone on after I take the battery out with out it being connected to the charger the blue LEDs flash that indicate that it is being turned on.

The battery may be functioning to some extent, but not enough to get the phone started.
Also, the power switch may be faulty.
I'm guessing that whatever you have, it's a hardware rather than a software problem, but I'll pass your question on to more knowledgeable members.

Thanks! I'll be going to the repairhouse later this day to get the battery tested and see if there are any other problems!
