cannot put a signature in galaxy s6 - why on earth is it so difficult? can someone please tell me

1. would like to put a signature in my gmail email but cannot find the way

2. transferring data etc from the old s4 to s6 has messed up all my contacts info

1. Open Gmail app -> Open hamburger menu in top left corner -> Settings -> Select your account -> Signature

2. Are your contacts synced with Google (they should be if you set it up previously on your S4, go to Gmail on your computer and check there)? If so, turn off Sync, delete the contacts from your phone, turn on Sync and let the phone re-synchronise your contacts with Google's servers. If not then please elaborate on your problem.
