My old phone doesn't work as a wireless only device.

I recently got a new phone and intended to keep my Galaxy s4 mini as a wireless tablet. But as soon as I transferred all my data to the new phone, my s4 won't stay turned on for more than a couple minutes. It shuts down and reboots on its own, regardless of how much battery it has left. It also doesn't remember the wireless networks that I teach it. This is very frustrating, any advice?

It might need a new battery.
Also, if you've transferred or backed up everything on it, you might as well try a Factory Reset.
