Recently got a 2016 Subaru Forester and paired my Motorola Droid Maxx with it ok. Although I can get and make calls in the car through the Bluetooth connection I do not receive or get notified of any text messages. The same phone will work for text messages and Bluetooth on a 2013 Honda Civic so can not figure out why it will not work on this car. I have tried deleting old text messages from phone and other fixes seen on line but still not working.
