How do I remove the app drawer from my favorites tray on LG G4?

I can remove and add any other icons but the app drawer will not go away...I don't need it for everyday use. Is there a way to remove it from favorites tray without downloading another launcher like Nova or Apex?

No if it really bothered you, you would have to download a new launcher. I have used nova launcher if preforms very well.

Long press the screen would be the quickest. But, like the OP says, I never use it
