I have a question: My smartphone is under T-Mobile. Is it necessary to have a Samsung Gear S with its own plan to get all the features from the smartwatch? I would just like to link it somehow to my Samsung Galaxy S Edge+ without it needing any sort of plan. Maybe receive calls, texts and everything via Bluetooth (?)

And, T-Mobile doesn't sell it anymore. I know that AT&T still does. Would you recommend buying a second-hand T-Mobile Samsung Gear S? Or buy one from AT&T with the data plan?

I might just have to suck it up and buy the used T-Mobile one and set it up with a T-Mobile plan...
