How do I remove blue circle?

When I switch my android on after putting in PIN but before unlocking, I get a blue circle that hovers at the bottom of my screen. It seems to indicate 'storage used' because when I click on it, a scale appears on the left side of the screen, which is calibrated in Gb. I have tried dragging it but nothing happens. When I unlock the screen, it disappears. Any help to remove it would be most appreciated.

The phone is a Blu Lifeplay. Taking a screenshot is difficult because the circle disappears as soon as I unlock the phone?!? It only appears when I 'wake up' the phone. Many thanks.

In that kind of situation, it may help to take a picture or video of the screen using another device, then post that.

Have you installed any 3rd party lockscreen apps?

Hi B Diddy,
I must have somehow downloaded a lockscreen app when installing BBC iplayer or hola. As a result of your help, I have simply changed the way I unlock the screen from slide to password, which for me is much more convenient and the blue circle is no more. Many thanks for your help.
