Install Android on an old XP Embedded tablet?

Hi. I am very new to Android. I have an old tablet:
Manufacturer - Winmate.
Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz Running Windows XP Embedded.
500MB RAM
Is it possible to install Android over the top of Windows?
Will all the drivers work? Touchscreen, USB etc?
If so, I would be very grateful is someone could point me in the right direction please.

Welcome to Android Central!

I would say it would probably not work. Unless you are a dev and know how to build a kernal that will work with that tablet you probably wont be able to. You could probably run an Android emulator on top of XP but that is about it.
